Vraskaki (strainer). This vessel is used in eastern Crete to strain honey from the comb.

Melolekanida (honey basin). A large basin with a hole in the middle and a row of clay knobs on the bottom, on which a basket full of honeycomb was placed to strain the honey. The melolekanida was placed in the mouth of the honey jar (melopitharo).
